I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s and a great weekend. As per our tradition we gave each other some chocolate bars. We always try to find some new ones and so far I’ve really liked the Theo Salted Toffee. Saturday we met up with some friends at Counter Culture and had a delicious vegan lunch and shared a good time.
I was planning do all kinds of chores the rest of this weekend but then my husband suggested going to the bookstore today and I was like, forget the chores, let’s go to the bookstore. I was excited to find the last issue from Rubber Stamp Madness magazine and found out there are a couple of stamp shows in Texas this year. I need to check my calendar and maybe I can make one of these. When we lived in Dallas, there were several that came through and those were so fun to attend.
As usual, I noticed that there were several of my favorite magazines that were missing or out of date which makes me wonder if they are still being published. I’ll have to look into those. I did get an email recently about Green Craft magazine coming back so I’m looking forward to it.
Now to get back to Out of Bounds which so far is very good but I’m so behind on it and my book group discussion is this Tuesday. Hope everyone has a great week ahead and I’ll catch you up soon on more books I’ve added to my TBR and other bookishness.
Glad to hear you’d a wonderful weekend, Iliana. Of course I’ll choose bookstores over chores anytime! 😉
That chocolate sounds delicious! I’ll have to keep an eye out for it.
Yay for ignoring the chores and going to the bookstore instead! 🙂
Thanks for the Valentine, Iliana! It was a lovely surprise and brightened my mail box. I’m ashamed that I didn’t do any Valentine mail this year, and I’m not sure how that happened, but it did. The stitching I’ve been doing has made me procrastinate on mail. Chores or bookstore? Not really much of a dilemma. 🙂
