I didn’t make it to the bookstore this weekend but I still got my hands on a new book. How? Well, I’m a lucky girl with some great friends. One of my best friends sent me The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood. Yeah!
Other indulgences for the weekend included:
- Going to the movies to see Night Watch. What a weird, strange film. I can’t decide if I liked it or not.
- Waking up late and lounging in bed with a good book most of the morning.
- Savoring a very yummy mocha latte and some great migas at Dream Café over a late brunch with a friend.
I hope to finish that good book tonight.
