I’m on such a high from my Murder on Mondays book group. Not only do we do a gift exchange at our December meeting but we also bring goodies. So while we discussed Mistletoe Man, we munched away on chocolate covered popcorn, pecan cookies, fudge, banana nut bread and other delicious treats.
As to the book, well it seems everyone thought it was an easy read and good enough as a selection for the festive season. I thought the book was okay. You can read more of my thoughts on it here.
After the discussion we exchanged gifts and I got a copy of School Days by Robert B. Parker. I haven’t read any of his novels so I’m excited with my book.
Now I’m off to read some more of Inez by Carlos Fuentes. That’s the book my Foreign Authors book group is discussing tomorrow. Two book group meetings in one week, aren’t I the social bookworm.
