I finally found The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark. I should have known that Half Price Books was the place to go.

This weekend I also bought The Hummingbird’s Daughter by Luis Alberto Urrea and Bundori by Laura Joh Rowland and I still have gift certificates left. Yeah!

All in all the weekend was a success. Now I’m going to start in on the Spark book because it sounds good and it’s totally different than what I thought it was about.

Here are some reviews of books I’ve recently read: Deep Blue Alibi by Paul Levine, The Book of Trouble by Ann Marlowe, Blue Shoes and Happiness by Alexander McCall Smith and Shinju by Laura Joh Rowland.

More book talk tomorrow.
