If you read my previous post you know I had a lot of temptation on my travels. There were so many books I wanted but I jotted down the titles and made mental notes of things I wanted but I did treat myself to two purchases.
In this cute bookstore in Rotterdam the selection of English books was a bit more limited but when I saw this journal and had to have it. It’s more of a planner but I may have other ideas for it. I just love that it has quotes about travels in Europe and pictures of artists or paintings and it’s all about Europe being a state of mind. In case you are wondering who is on the cover that is Brigitte Bardot.
My next purchase was at P.W. Akkerman in Amsterdam and that is the super cool Kaweco 70’s Soul fountain pen. Yes, I’ve become a fountain pen geek! Now when I use these two I’ll always think of our vacation.
Anyway I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I’m not sure what my plans are yet but I do plan to write up another post about some of the titles I took note of while I was visiting all those bookshops so stay tuned for that.
I love journals, especially travel journals. Love the cover on the one you bought! Souvenirs are always such nice reminders of great trips, aren’t they? Glad you had such a good time.
I’m sure Amsterdam was amazing. I like the journal! Glad you had a nice time traveling.
Les in OR – I remember I used to buy very kitschy souvenirs but now I really prefer journals and or bookmarks as I know I’ll definitely use those!
Bookworm – Thank you! We really did have a great trip and I’ve been daydreaming about next year’s vacation already. Haha!
Theгe is certainly a lot to fіnd out about tһis topic.
