Oh it was so nice to have a three day weekend. I did some yoga, went to the movies, and even did a bit of retail therapy. We also went to Half Price Books but surprisingly I only walked away with one book, The Inquisitor’s Key, while my husband got four books.
That’s ok, don’t feel bad for me because I did get two books for my birthday. Yay. I recently mentioned these books in a blog post recently and my husband got them for me. Wasn’t that nice?
I was planning to start reading the latest Maisie Dobbs but I had to read one of my birthday books and chose Dante’s Wood. So far this book is great. The main character is a psychiatrist who’s recently gone back to work after a devastating illness. His first patient is a mentally handicapped teenager who will soon be charged with murder.

So nice of your husband to get the books you mentioned in a blog post for your birthday. The holiday went by way too fast. I did read some good books but didn’t get to read them enough!
