Hi Friends! We’re back from a little getaway to Palm Springs. What a beautiful place it is with so much natural beauty. We got to visit the Joshua Tree National Park. This picture of me is taken from Keys Views which is a short, paved loop path offering amazing views of the San Andreas Fault, Mount San Jacinto, Mount San Gorgonio, and the Salton Sea.
We also went on a guided hike of Indian Canyons and really enjoyed hearing about its history. The weather was wonderful and perfect for hiking as it was sunny but not hot. I cannot imagine doing those hikes in warmer weather.
I feel like there was much more we could have done but maybe we’ll have to go back another time.
On the reading front, I was able to finish a book while we were there and thank goodness, otherwise February would have been a very sad reading month. All in all, I read four books in February with my favorite one being Scars Like Wings by Erin Stewart.
I have several books going on at the moment and I’ve made quite a dent in those so hopefully I’ll be finishing some other books soon. Anyway, what a great way to great the new month and I hope you all have a wonderful reading month ahead!
Glad you had such a good time on your trip! Love that photo. 🙂
Sounds like a great trip and I’m glad to hear you had a wonderful time, Iliana!
Yay for a nice getaway! Looks like the weather was lovely.
Never been to Palm Springs but it’s on my list. I love places with so much natural beauty that you don’t need to escape into manmade places to get some entertainment.
