So what will be the breakthrough bestseller for the Fall? Which novel will be the one that everyone is talking about? I don’t know about everyone else but some of the books that have gone on my to be read list are:
- Memories of My Melancholy Whores by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
- Slow Man by J.M. Coetzee
- Making It Up by Penelope Lively
- Goodnight Nobody by Jennifer Weiner
- Captain of the Sleepers by Mayra Montero
Another book that just caught my attention today was Leave Me Alone, I’m Reading by Maureen Corrigan. The title alone makes me want to read this book. If you want to read a bit more about the author and the book check out the NPR article.
