It’s been quite a few years since my blog had a new look, January 2007 to be exact, so it was definitely time for a little make-over here at Bookgirl’s Nightstand.
A big thanks go to my husband who’s been working on this for me. I’ve updated my Footnotes section with travel pictures from the last couple of years although I’m still working on adding some descriptions. Still in progress is my Book Art section as I still have so many one-of-a-kind journals I’ve made that I haven’t gotten around to show you.
So there are still a few things to update around here but for now I’m ready to enjoy my new blog look.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I’ll be back with more book talk soon.

I would love it if I had a husband that could help me update mine! Mine has been the same from the very beginning. And every time I tried to touch it, it would blow up, so I just left it alone. I look forward to all the renovations. So far it looks great!
Love it! Bright and cheerful, clean and easy to read, negotiate.
Looks great!
Sandy – My poor husband has been dealing with my blog all day it seems. I keep changing my mind on things. haha.. Still a work in progress but it’s fun to have a new look after so long!
jenclair – Thank you!
Tiffany – Thank you!
Your hubby did a great job with the new blog look and setup! I’ve been meaning to update mine for some time, I’m just so indecisive…lol.
Iliana, very nice. So clean and uncluttered. Kudos to your husband on his good work.
Oooh, I like the new look! Isn’t it wonderful to have a “geek” husband? I don’t know what I’d do without mine!
I do have a question, though! Is there a way to subscribe to replies after commenting? I rarely remember to pop back to a post I’ve commented on, but hate to miss your remarks…
I noticed it this morning and it looks WONDERFUL!
Hey guys – Thanks so much for the nice comments. I’ll have to share them with hubby as he’s the one who did all the hard work! I’m still trying to get used to some things and still need to update some stuff but at least one thing crossed off my to-do list lately 🙂
I love it! So fresh and open. Very lovely.
I think it looks great!
Love, love, love the new look! Michael is so wonderful to help you on your fresh look. I love that you have added travel photos too (I finally got to see your Iceland Photos)!
I owe you an email !!
