I finally started reading A Very Long Engagement by Sebastien Japrisot, and I am already hooked after only one chapter. If this book continues like this I can understand why so many of you told me it was one of your favorites.
However, I wish my book didn’t have the movie tie-in cover. Am I being a book snob? You know I’m not one. I read all sorts of things but movie tie-in covers or covers with the big “O” symbol make me want to craft up a book cover and hide them.
