Hey friends – another few weeks gone by and here I am about to miss out on National Poetry Month. We’ve been busy with family in town, home projects (painting, gardening, etc.), getting over colds – you name it.
Actually I have been keeping up with some daily poetry reading thanks to the The Borzoi Reader Poem-A-Day. Love that! I think one of my favorite poems so far has been Christina Rosetti’s, In an Artist’s Studio. Another thing I’m enjoying is the Poetry Foundation’s app. I try to read a poem during my lunch break at work.
What about you, what wonderful poems have you been reading?
My goal this month is to find a poetry reading around town. I remember when Christine and I used to go to poetry slams in Dallas. So much fun. I’ve missed that.
So the weekend is here and my plans include a lot of bookbinding. I’ve got a couple of craft shows that I may be participating in coming up and I need to get some journals ready. Also, my Etsy shop is celebrating 5 years. I can’t believe that! Thank you all for supporting my adventures in bookbinding. I have a sale coming up next week so if you need some new journals stay tuned for that.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend filled with lots of poetry reading!
Nice to see you back! Congratulations on 5 years for your Etsy shop!
