As I was leaving the office today someone said to me, “looks like you are taking a lot of work home tonight.” I smiled and mumbled something to the effect that it wasn’t too bad. You see, this person assumed I was a dedicated worker bee when in reality my big, black bag was filled with books. Not project reports or other business related items just my books.
What makes my black bag so bulky? Here’s what you’ll find in my book tote:

- Magazine – Currently it’s Pages Magazine
- Books – Currently it’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon and Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
- Animal crackers – Great for snacking while reading
- Water bottle
It sounds like I’m going on a field trip right? My reasoning is that you can’t be prepared enough for when you have extra reading time.
