Is it the weekend yet? By Monday afternoon I was already saying this so needless to say I’m ready to recharge. So, a quick post but hopefully you’ll find some fun stuff to read. I know I enjoyed these.
Want to know what New York readers look like? Take a peek at this artwork. I love how it’s a big cityscape but you can zoom in and you feel like you are eavesdropping on readers.
Speaking of lovely artwork, I’ve been a big fan of Penelope Dullaghan’s work and just saw this interview with her and of course wish I had this as a print. How many of us do this?
For those of you who enjoy reading about crafts, here’s one that’s near & dear to my heart – bookbinding. It’s a short clip of a bookbinder and restorer. Amazing work.
Speaking of books, growing up surrounded by books could have powerful, lasting effects on the mind. I’m not surprised by this, are you?
If you have a love for gardens and plants, how about some reading some Plant Love Stories. And, if you have one to share you can even submit your own.
Finally, thank you to Jenclair for reminding us that Postcards are celebrating 150 years! Are you sending out any postcards? I’m determined to mail out some so if you want me to send you a postcard be sure to send me an email with your address.
Ok, that’s about it for now. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and more book talk soon!
Very interesting links! I enjoyed the interview of Penelope Dullaghan and view some of her works. The artwork about the NY readers looks awesome, too! Well, weekend is just around the corner and I hope you’ll have an enjoyable one. 🙂
OK, I’ve already clicked on the Plant Love Story link and almost got sucked in completely before remembering where I came from! Definitely going to be spending some time there and thinking of several of my own plant love stories! I’ll be going back to all of these links. 🙂 Oh, and I’ll be sending you a postcard soon!
Thanks for the interesting links, I like the NYC reading one.
Enjoy your week! I start my Friday countdown on Monday morning when I get to work lol.
Melody – Aren’t those great? So glad you enjoyed them. I used to follow Penelope’s blog for years and it’s so neat to see how her art has evolved.
Jen Mullen – Ah, I love it! I though you might enjoy that one. I finally found some really cool postcards I had bought ages ago so I can’t wait to share one with you.
Bookworm – I totally know how you feel about the work countdown! haha.. I do love my job but sometimes it’s crazy.
