I have a stack of books to review but those are just going to have to wait a bit longer because right now I’ve got quite a few things going on so hopefully this weekend I will get to them.
Instead, I’m going to leave you with some very fun bookish links – enjoy!
- I know I raved about Lucy Knisley’s book French Milk, but I’ve recently discovered her online journal. It’s wonderful and for all of you Twilight lovers, you must check out her entry “My Lost Weekend in the Meyer”. Hilarious.
- Want to let your inner graffiti artist out? Get a copy of The Walls notebook and you’ll have 80 “clean” New York walls as your sketch pad. I love this and will have to put it on my Christmas wish list.
- Do you love fairy tales? What if those didn’t end in happily ever after? Check out the Fallen Princesses project by JPG magazine and see what you think.
- Love beautiful books? Check out the books in the Fifth Triennial Helen DeGoyler bookbinding competition. I’m very excited to see that Jury Prize in Design went to this entry. I took classes with David at the Craft Guild in Dallas! He’s a fabulous bookbinder and teacher. Hopefully one day I can take another of his classes.
Alright, that’s it for today but please stop by tomorrow for a special guest post.

Isabel – Good question. I’m assuming it’s just smooth text paper. I can’t imagine that it’d be slick but who knows maybe it is.

I do love beautiful books! That link was great. Books can be art. I love using big beautiful books as end tables. A beautiful book binding just adds to a room and it is always a great conversation piece.
