I hope you all enjoyed a great weekend. I spent a good time going through my bookshelves to weed out books. I can’t believe how many books I took out and I thought I might feel kind of bad at letting some go but actually it was interesting to see how some books I can’t even believe I had. They didn’t seem interesting to me at all anymore.
So that was productive. I also finished Murder In Chelsea by Victoria Thompson. I stayed up very late on Friday finishing it and I’ll have to tell you more about it. I also went to the library to pick up The House of Silk by Anthony Horowitz which I need to hurry up and start for my next book group meeting. Can you believe I didn’t check out any other books? I tell you, I’m on a roll with trying to read more from my shelves.
Aside from that the weekend seems to have gone by way too quickly. There was art journaling, craft shopping (I bought some fun scrapbook paper) and organizing going on around here and I just wish I had a bit more time to get more of that in but now it’s time to start getting ready for bed and ready for the week. What about you, is there something you wish you had gotten around to doing this weekend?
I did some weeding to this weekend only is was in the garden and not my bookshelves. Also did lots of digging and planting and carrying bags of dirt. It was great but hardly did any reading.
My weekend went by much too fast also but I did do some reading. Glad to hear you had a nice weekend. Enjoy your week!
Stefanie – I always think I’m going to do lots of reading on the weekends but there’s always so many other things to do too. I bet your garden is looking great. Our poor backyard needs lots of work! Love beautiful gardens but I’m not very good at the gardening part 😉
Kathleen – How is it that weekends fly by and the work week sometimes seems to drag?! 🙂 Hope you have a great week. Are you reading something good?
