Hello Friends – I’m back from vacation! We had such a great time in Germany and we also enjoyed spending some time in The Netherlands. I thought of blogging a few times while I was away but given that we had some technical issues to begin with I decided that was a sign to just take a break and enjoy vacation.
I have lots of stories to share about beautiful cities we were in and of course bookstores visited and all that good stuff. I read tons when we were on trains or just having down days. I read 14 books while on vacation. Love it. I also did a bit of book buying of course.
Now reality is setting in and I have tons of emails to catch up on, packages to get through, reviews to post and don’t even get me started on my work. I had more than 500 emails waiting for me today.
I’ll try to do my best on answering emails and comments and of course catching up with you guys but it may take me a while. Hope I won’t bore you too much with my vacation posts but I promise to come back with more pictures. In the meantime here’s one of me in Gouda, a lovely historic city in South Holland known for it’s stroopwaffles (they were so delicious) and cheese, of course!
Let me know what you’ve been up to and what have I missed. Now I think I may go to bed a bit early today as I’m still dealing with a bit of jet lag.
Welcome back, Iliana! Sounds like you’d a wonderful vacation and of course, not to mention great reading! Looking forward to your vacation posts and your book reviews. 🙂
Welcome, back! Take a little time to recover, then share your adventures!

Welcome home! I can’t wait to see your photos and hear about your trip!! I didn’t get one of those waffles, but I did get something similar in Amsterdam. I need to blog about the great food on MY trip! ☺
Welcome back! I love the architecture in that photo. I need to see more of Germany.
