Happy Valentine’s day friends! I hope you are having a beautiful start to your Sunday. It’s kind of gray outside here but I was looking at our backyard garden earlier this morning and I see lots of things starting to bloom.
Our mini roses are looking beautiful and some of our plants we put in last Spring look stronger and I can’t wait to see what blooms they’ll have later this year. I’ve been thinking of some extra things to do in our garden so I’ll keep you posted on that. Fairies might be involved!
We didn’t get a chance to go to the bookstore on Friday because I was tired after my long commute and we decided to just stay in and caught up on Grimm. I’m not feeling this show much more but we’ll see what happens.
I hear my husband in the kitchen right now. I think more Cowboy cookies are going to be made. Yay. And, definitely a trip to the bookstore this afternoon. Now that’s my kind of Valentine’s.
I like to think of Valentine’s day as a day to celebrate love & friendship. So happy day to you all and more book talk soon!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you as well! We are in the midst of a small snow storm which has the kids thrilled. They are hoping to go outside and play so we will see. Otherwise it will be a quiet day at home for us all. Have a great week!!!
Enjoy your day, Iliana! I hope the sun comes out a little more. It’s still cloudy. And I am so ready to be done with the cedar pollen. We are almost there. Yay!
I gave my husband a book for Valentine’s Day. 🙂 We went to see a movie, but the day’s kind of gone downhill since then. Mouse is sick. I hope it’s just a cold.
I’m so jealous that you have things blooming in your garden already! It will be a couple of months before I see any sign of life around here. Too cold and snowy, although they say we’ll be in the upper 60s by the end of the week! Whoohoo!
We had a low-key Valentine’s Day with dinner at home. We watched the final episode of Jessica Jones, which ended pretty much to my complete satisfaction.
I almost asked Bookman to make cowboy cookies yesterday but we opted for brownies instead 🙂 You know I’d love to hear more about your garden, and photos, need some photos! 🙂 Sounds like you had a wonderful Valentine’s day!
Oh bummer that the bookstore visit didn’t happen but hopefully next week maybe? Those cookies – I need to make them too.
