I hope you are ready for all the festivities of the season. We are having another quiet holiday at Casa Bookgirl but my husband is going to try some new recipes. I’m most excited about the dessert he’s making because it’s from a cookbook we bought when we were in Sweden several years ago. Fingers crossed that it turns out yummy. My mom and I will probably find time to watch one of our favorite Jane Austen movies and we’ll probably be on the phone to family wishing them a Merry Christmas.
The last couple of weeks have been super busy at work so I’m excited about having some days off. I’m looking forward to finishing some books, working on some craft projects and hopefully if the weather cooperates, go enjoy a trail walk. Relaxing, naps, books and coffee. That’s what I want for Christmas.
I’ll definitely be back to post the end of year book report. We all love those posts right? I’m still hopeful of meeting my reading goal but we’ll see. I also want to check in with you guys so I hope to do that as well. Anyway, now off to wrap some gifts.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones and hope Santa brings you lots of books!
Hugs,
ili
Hoping you and your family have a very Merry Christmas, Iliana! The weather should cooperate for a nice walk on Christmas Day. I plan to suggest that to family after we eat – whoever would like to take a walk with me. I look forward to sharing books and reading with you in 2020!
