Dear Friends,
I know I’ve been a way a bit from blogland this month but now with the holidays I will finally have a bit of time to catch up. My husband, mom and myself are ready to enjoy the Season. It’s going to be quiet around here as we won’t have family visiting but I’m thinking of hours for reading, crafting, connecting with nature, etc.
My wish for you this holiday season is that you have a wonderful time with your families and friends. May your days be filled with much happiness and books too, of course! I can’t wait to read about your bookish gifts.
I’m taking a few days away from the blog but I’ll be putting together my end of year favorites list! Of course, I can’t wait to read yours lists too. Happy Holidays!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas, Iliana. Like you, we spent a quiet day with my mom (actually on the 26th, rather than the 25th) and are now enjoying the week at her home on the Oregon coast. Pretty much perfect.
I didn’t see where to comment on an earlier post, so I’ll just do so here. I read and enjoyed In a Dark, Dark Wood quite well. It started out very creepy, but then settled into a good mystery without scaring me too much. 🙂
