I am getting close to finishing the R.I.P. II Challenge. Just one more book! I may just be able to do this one. I recently finished The Society of S by Susan Hubbard which I greatly enjoyed (click on the title for my review).
The other recent read was A Year in Provence by Peter Mayle and which is my second book of the Armchair Traveler Reading Challenge. I was a bit more meh on this book. I still have four more books to go on this challenge. Hmm, I think this one will be a tough one to complete.
And speaking of challenges, I recently found Wendy’s blog project A Novel Challenge. Oh this is not a good thing for me. I want to join all of those reading challenges.
Anyway, I’m off to read or else I won’t finish any of my challenges.

The Society of S sounds good. Another vampire book to add to my list. Good luck with your last book for the R.I.P. Challenge! I know you can do it! 🙂
double dip.
If you are reading a book for one challenge, why not list it for this one also?
Wow. I had no idea there was a blog just to list all the reading challenges! You could get yourself into some serious trouble there. I am going to try and just stick to a very few, since I am not very good about reading so many books for these challenges. I hope to finish my one lone book for Carl’s RIP challenge still. I hate being such a slow reader (and being so tempted by other books…).
I was just looking at the 888 challenge. YIKES! Too many challenges. I finished one challenge this year. But in other news I finished my 100th book last night. It might be more but 100 that I remembered to write down.
Isn’t nice to be almost complete on a challenge? I’ll be finishing the RIP challenge too. First complete challenge in what feels like ages.
Tanabata – It was such a nice surprise and quite a different take on vampire fic.
Isabel – I know – I definitely need to do that for any other challenges 🙂
Danielle – I’m terrible, I shouldn’t have shown that right. I want to stick to a few as well and hopefully complete the books!
Nancy – Yikes indeed! Hurrah on your 100th book! I don’t think I’ve read as many books this year as I did last year and I’m thinking it’s because I’ve read fewer mysteries. For some reason, those seem to fly by when I read them.
Stefanie – Absolutely. I think to date I’ve only completed one challenged that I’ve started. But it’s been fun trying all the others anyway 🙂
I’m staying away from the challenge blog, because I really don’t need the temptation!
I’m moving on gingerly for this challenge, changing the choice of books every hour! I just read about The Journal of Dora Damage from Andi’s blog. I think I’ll pick that one up. 🙂
Dorothy W – You are a smart woman 🙂
Matt – I just read Andi’s post on it today too and have got to get my hands on that. Let’s see who gets it first – hee, hee.
