I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I wish I could say I got a lot done this weekend but it just seemed to fly by right? We did go to a local nursery to get some plants for our backyard but really need to do a bit more planning to see what we want to do.
Of course we spent a bit of time at Barnes & Noble and I went back on forth on if I wanted to the latest Flow Magazine. I put it back on the stand but I’m still tempted to go back.
Anyway, this post is all about new books in the mail. I’ve been fortunate to receive a lot of ARCs lately. Here are the books:
The Turnip Princess and Other Newly Discovered Fairy Tales
Our Endless Numbered Days by Claire Fuller
The Alphabet House by Jussi Adler-Olsen
Missing by Sam Hawken
Rebel Queen by Michelle Moran
The Walls Around Us by Nova Ren Suma
The Whites by Richard Price
Gwendolen by Diana Souhami
The Year My Mother Came Back by Alice Eve Cohen
Reluctantly Charmed by Ellie O’Neill
A Sister to Honor by Lucy Ferris
A Tender Struggle by Krista Bremer
One Plus One by Jojo Moyes
A Small Indiscretion by Jan Ellison
All of these sound very interesting and I want to read them all now!
Which one should I start with first? I don’t know but what I do know is that my March reading has been extremely slow-going and I’m hopeful that April will be a better reading month but more on that later. Anyway, here’s to a great start of the week!
Whoa! Lots of new books to devour! I’m so jealous. 🙂 Seriously, they all look good! Of course I’d suggest to read The Alphabet House since I’d only read that book from your pile and I enjoyed it so much!
Happy reading!!
That is a bunch of books! I wouldn’t know where to start either. The only ones I’ve familiar with are The Alphabet House and A Small Indiscretion. Enjoy them!
Look at all those new books! Enjoy figuring out which one to read first!
We need to visit the nursery soon if we are going to do any planting this spring. I think the weather will start to cool down enough this weekend. It was just too hot this past weekend.
I hope to get to A Small Indiscretion by Jan Ellison soon. It sounds like you have a copy of that one too. Enjoy all your new books! And have a great week!
So many wonderful books! I’ve been wanting to read Rebel Queen. We have A Small Indiscretion in common. And I love Jojo Moyes, whatever you choose to read first, enjoy 🙂
I am determined to grow some veggies this year myself to use in my juicer and in salads. I have grown tomatoes and zuchinni before and those were easy. I think I’ll try that again.
Love that stack! There are a few new-to-me books in there. The only one I have read is One Plus One, which I loved, so I hope you will enjoy it. I am curious about the Jussi Adler-Olsen book – I keep seeing it show up in my library lists but haven’t yet given it a chance.
Wow, that is an awesome haul!!
I gave my Flow to a sad friend.
