I saw this meme over at Picky Girl and I must join. I’ve done a similar one but well that was a while back and besides it’s just too fun so why not doing it again. The key is to fill in the rest of the sentence with a title of a book read in the past year.
In school I was: The Uncommon Reader
People might be surprised I’m: The Romantics
I will never be: Bad Blood
My fantasy job is: The Friday Night Knitting Club
At the end of a long day I need: Ferris Beach
I hate it when: Wolves Eat Dogs
Wish I had: A Cottage by the Sea
My family reunions are: Rumor Has It
At a party you’d find me with: The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest
I’ve never been to: Broken Glass Park
A happy day includes: Foreign Correspondence
Motto I live by: The Laws of Harmony
On my bucket list: The Summer of Skinny Dipping
In my next life, I want to be: The Season of Second Chances
Why not give this meme a whirl. I want to see your bookish mad libs.
What a great meme. I’m not sure I feel clever enough to try this one at the moment but will file it away for future use.
Perfect! I especially like the Wolves Eat Dogs sentence. It worked out very well. Pop Culture Nerd is just too much fun for her own good. I was feverishly filling in titles to these sentences. And I love the title!!!
I played along!

Lovely meme! And I Love your answers too! I have not read many books this last year 🙂
That’s a fun meme! I played too! 🙂
I can never answer these myself, but they’re so fun to read 🙂
Fun! I’d love to have a cottage by the sea too. I’d be there right now if I did!
How funny to see how titles fit in these sentences! I’m like Nymeth, always find it difficult to do these, but love to read them!
I’m going to do this soon I think. I think I can safely say we all hate it when wolves eat dogs Iliana, don’t feel like you’re alone on that one 😉
Hi Everyone – Glad you are enjoying this! I can’t wait to see what some of you have come up with 🙂
Great meme – really fun! I filled it out as well and it is so fun going through the books you’ve read during the year and see where they fit in!
What fun–I may have to borrow this one from you! Did you enjoy Ferris Beach? Now I can’t remember if I saw a review of it or not (am too forgetful these days).
Your last one is my favorite; may we get the second chances we wish in the places we most need them. I’ll put this in a draft, and see if I can come up with answers as clever as yours. Don’t hold your breath! 😉
fun meme iliana 🙂 I’m definitely going to play too. Interesting choice for the bucket list! lol
This is fun to read and fun to do. I posted mine today. I was surprised we had one in common. LOL
PS…I didn’t know what a bucket list was…am I dumb?
Help me!
At a party you’d find me with: The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest
Wow I like that! I was trying to fit in The Uncommon Reader for the same question you answered but I ended up with Shadow without a Name. I was never noticed in school—that quiet kid sitting at the back corner!

This does look like fun, and I wish I could do it, too–but I haven’t kept track of the books I read this year. =(
I wonder if there are other variations . . .
I love the ‘wolves eat dogs’ one!
