Hi Friends,
It’s celebration time for my blog as today marks the 17th year of book talk. I know I say this every year, but it is still unbelievable to me that I’ve been blogging about books for so long. I think even without new books coming out every day/month, I’d still have lots to share.
I thank you for coming along with me and not only talking about books but letting me share about my crafty projects, travels, and just personal chit chat. It’s funny because since we’ve been in a pandemic when my outings have been non-existent, I still have had plenty to share and think I actually blogged more last year than the previous one. Go figure.
I appreciate how much I learn from all of you whether it’s about a new author I need to read or the latest in the literary world. I know that blogging not just takes time for the person writing but it is a community and everyone’s time is precious so if you are commenting or just visiting it takes time and I thank you for spending time with me.
Now I’m going take a bit of downtime from the blog so I can go do some celebratory book shopping of course! I hope you all have a great rest of the week and weekend and more book talk soon!

Happy blog anniversary! I think mine is coming up too. Not quite as long, but almost. 😉 I think I’m hitting 15. It’s hard to believe we’ve been blogging that long, isn’t it?
Happy bloggiversary, Iliana! 17 years is quite an accomplishment! I celebrated my 15th this year, so you’re a little ahead of me. I’m so glad you’ve continued all these years and I hope someday that we’ll get a chance to meet in person. I’ve enjoyed reading your posts about books, crafting, gardening and travel and am so glad you haven’t stopped sharing, as so many of my favorite bloggers have closed up shop after so many years.
