Friday is the start of my weekend; yes, a three day weekend. Yay. As you can imagine I’m really looking forward to it. Here is a little list of things for the weekend:
- Bookshelves. I’m making some changes in my studio and these will help. Pictures to come.
- New edition of Art Journaling Magazine. I don’t need an excuse to go to the bookstore but this time I already know what I’m getting.
- Colorful ribbons. I got these gorgeous ribbons and can’t wait to use them for a crafty project.
- First library visit of the year. I have to return some books and will take a look at the new books shelves.
- Type Truck. Going to check out a moveable print shop.
Short post but I have to see if I can finish the library book that is due back on Saturday. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and more bookish news soon.

Sounds like you have a great weekend lined up! I just got new bookshelves for Christmas, so I am feeling your excitement for bookshelf action. It is so much fun to organize!
Sounds fantastic! Enjoy your weekend, Iliana!
It really does sound like a wonderful weekend; I’m looking forward to the pics of bookshelf-ness.
I haven’t yet visited the library either–I only have a mere three books checked out from the public library but I do have one on hold. I am contemplating joining their winter reading program but am still undecided. I have a stack of my own books I want to read, so I might pass this year (reading from my own shelves is always a good thing!).
I have a three day weekend as well and it is so relaxing!!! I’m hoping to find the time to get a good portion of my current read finished and other than that. Laundry. Lots of laundry. I hope you find time to relax as well 🙂
I recently got the same shelving unit from Ikea. Using it for organization (crafting stuff) though. Good luck with your creating!! 🙂
Sandy – I know, it’s great to organize books isn’t it? Of course, half of the time I keep going “oh, I forgot I had this book” haha…
Andi – It was a lot of fun but not long enough. I didn’t get a chance to do blog reading and that’s one thing I really feel bad about. I want to see what you guys are up to!
Buried In Print – They are coming 🙂
Danielle – I didn’t get a chance to go to the library after all but hopefully this week. I need to read more from my shelves too but it’s just so fun to see new books at the library isn’t it?
Samantha – Oh I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I’ve got lots of laundry calling my name too but somehow I didn’t find time for that – haha…
Trish – Great minds think alike right 🙂 I’m really happy how it turned out and I hope it helps me keep my studio a bit more organized so I can actually spend more time crafting!
I love the shelves and have heard the IKEA is the place to shop for bookshelves. I really need some new ones so maybe this will be the year that I get them!
