It’s A Mystery

I missed going to my mystery book group this month but I wanted to talk a bit about some mysteries that I’m planning to read and just other news in mystery genre.

Some mysteries to look forward to in the coming months with my book group are:

Detective Inspector Huss by Helen Tursten, translated by Steven T. Murray
May God Forgive by Alan Parks
Welcome to Cooper by Tariq Ashkanani

I have read a book by Helen Tursten but not from this series so I’m excited to start with the first book in this series. The other two authors I have not read.

Speaking of series did you hear that Jacqueline Winspear has a new novel, The White Lady, and it’s not a Maisie Dobbs book. I’ve read some reviews and I wonder if it will be a new series.

Another new book coming out at the end of the month is The Last Remains by Elly Griffiths which is the 15th book in the Ruth Galloway series. I’ve read some mystery blogs that mention this is the last book in the series but I’ve read some posts by the author that make me think it’s not? I’ve fallen a bit behind on the series so at least I have quite a few books to look forward to not to mention the authors other series.
