I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. I had quite the busy week and weekend. Last week my husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary! We tried a new restaurant for dinner and that was really nice.
This weekend I got to spend quite a bit of time with one of my dear friends who was visiting. We went to Wimberley, which is about 30 minutes from Austin, for a little bit of shopping and fun.
Of course though this means I had to catch up on chores today and spend time with my mom so not a lot of reading was done. I am also a bit behind on my blog reading so I can’t wait to catch up and see what everyone’s been reading. How is your November coming along?
Is it bad that I’m already looking forward to Thanksgiving so I can have several days free for reading? Anyway, I hope you have a great start of the week and more bookish talk soon.
Happy Anniversary! It sounds like you had a nice weekend. We had a busy one too, with Mouse’s tumble and dance class and then a birthday party. I’d forgotten to get gifts for the two birthday kids and we had to squeeze that in.
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving as well. I am not sure how much reading I will get done, but I will try to sneak some in when I can. 🙂
