I had such a fun weekend. We went to the Bowfire violin concert on Friday. Claiming to be a total violin experience, the concert featured everything from classical to jazz and Celtic to Gypsy music. Our seats were up high but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the music. If they come to your part of town go see them.
On Saturday I had a lot of downtime as I was waiting for my cousin to arrive from Monterrey. While waiting around I read a cozy mystery, On What Grounds by Cleo Coyle. It’s the first in the coffeehouse mystery series. For java junkies I do recommend it as there are tips for brewing the perfect cup and even some recipes.
My husband and I also caught up on some of our movie going and went to see Sideways. I highly recommend this indie film but be forewarned that you’ll leave the movie craving a glass of wine, or make that a bottle.
