I got home from class at 10:30 p.m., so it’s been a long day. I should be going to sleep but am not really feeling sleepy yet. Perhaps it’s because I keep thinking that:
- I need to be fluent in German by Christmastime. My husband’s family must be getting tired of my limited knowledge of German. Now, where are those self-study tapes my husband bought me a couple of years ago…. Hilfe!
- Rainy days like the ones we are supposed to have all week are better spent in bed with a good book and a mug of Vanilla Almond tea, cookies optional.
- My writing teacher is cool. She gave each of us a brand new, recently released grammar textbook. Only a word geek would get excited about this, I know, but seriously those books can get pricey.
- I might as well start reading a new novel as I can’t seem to fall asleep.
