Tomorrow is a holiday and it’ll be nice to have a day off during the week. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make this an extended long weekend as I’m saving holiday time for our vacation later this year, but I’m ready to enjoy the extra day off.
This evening I went to the library to pick up a few more holds. Seriously, I need to stop because I’m certainly not reading as fast as the books are coming in! But you want to know what I got?
- Let’s Explore Diabetes With Owls by David Sedaris. So very excited about this one. I love his writing.
- Love Poems From God edited by Daniel Ladinsky. I told you I’ve been in the mood for poetry.
- He’s Gone by Deb Caletti. I saw this one in the bookstore recently and thought it sounded good.
I think I’m set. I am taking a couple of days off from the blog to enjoy some yoga, bookbinding, a museum visit and hopefully some other fun adventures. Have a wonderful weekend everyone and more book talk soon!

I’m doing the same thing Iliana, enjoying the 4th off, but going back to work Friday and saving my vacation days for later 🙂 I stopped going to the library a while ago…lol….my TBR pile is immense. Happy reading, happy blog break and happy summer 🙂
I only got Thursday off from work too. It was still nice though. Hope you had a good 4th and have a lovely weekend.

I had to go through my own pile of library books and do a serious weeding–some had to go back as I have far too many to get read in those very quick three weeks they give us…
Danielle – I’m afraid most of my library books are going to go back unread. Oh well, at least I can check them out again some day! 🙂
I need to stop going to the library too! I went once and then again…and I’m already thinking about the books that I want to get when I go next. LOL! At least it is all free though, right???
