Were you in suspense over my latest reads? I’m into three books right now and they are so good.
First, I’m still reading A Very Long Engagement. I’m nearing the end and I get the feeling this is one of those books that will leave a lasting impression on me. I meet up with my Foreign Authors book group on Tuesday to discuss it so I plan to finish it this weekend.
The second book I picked up is Fall on Your Knees for the Reading Matters book group. It sounded interesting and so far I haven’t been disappointed. I’m only a couple of chapters into this one but I have high hopes.
Finally in my efforts to read more non-fiction I picked up Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife. What an intriguing read. The author is quite witty and manages to make dour subject, death, very fascinating.
So, along with reading, this weekend I’m hoping to catch a movie – maybe one of the Oscar nominees. I also have a Paste Paper workshop on Saturday. Bring on the crafty goodness. I hope everyone is reading lots of good stuff this weekend.
