Playing Catch Up

I spent a bit of time playing catch up and visiting blog friends tonight. By no means, did I get to read all that I’ve missed in months but oh how I miss blog reading. You guys are so interesting and read such great books.

So what’s been up with me? A lot of crafting. What with the holiday season coming up that is usually when I get more visits to my Etsy shop. When I had my first craft show two years ago I had said that one of my goals was to participate in more in the coming year and then I changed jobs and that just didn’t happen.

Now though I feel like I’ve caught the crafting bug again and guess what? I just got accepted at the Austin Flea! So my next show is in two weeks. I can’t wait.

I may not be spending as much time reading lately but there’s not a day goes by that I don’t pick up a book. I just can’t go to sleep without reading at least a page or two. This weekend I did sneak quite a bit of pages in to What the Dead Know by Laura Lippman. This book is so good. I’m about 50-60 pages from the end and I have no clue how it will all work out. I love that.

Oh and I finally opened all the packages that were waiting for me when I got back from vacation. Yes, it’s been a month! I’ll share a picture soon.
