Today was rainy and gray, pretty much a perfect day to stay indoors and read. I did have to run out to meet a friend for lunch but as soon as that was over I came home and read.
I finished Still Life by Louise Penny, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and I am almost done with Disobedience by Naomi Alderman, which is also a very engaging read.
What I need to do now is get started on my November book group reads. My mystery book club is reading A Great Deliverance by Elizabeth George. This is the first in the popular Thomas Lynley series. And, my foreign authors group book is Shalimar the Clown by Salman Rushdie. I need to finish both by the beginning of November.
