I was at the library today and saw the announcement I look forward to seeing every year – Library Book Sale! It’s still a month a way but just like any other important date; such as birthdays, vacations and the like, the book sale dates go on my calendar.
In the meantime, I’m going to go through my stacks, do a bit of pruning the shelves and donate some books. After all, I’m sure I’ll buy double the amount I give away.
So while I was there I dropped off some movies and CDs and I picked up two books. As I’d already gotten one over the weekend despite my reading challenge I figure what’s the point now.
I borrowed Past Reason Hated by Peter Robinson as I’m really digging the Inspector Banks series, and The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells because I really, really need to finally read and be ready to discuss one of the Slaves of Golconda’s picks. I swear I’ve read two of the previous books. I just haven’t read them on time.
