Low-Key

This weekend was wonderful. Aside for a quick trip to the grocery store, it was all about relaxing and books. Granted, the laundry is piled high but I don’t care. After being out the past four weekends on retreats, trips, etc. it was nice to have some downtime.

We had our friday night date at a new Barnes & Noble and we enjoyed reading magazines and eating double chocolate cheesecake. Yum. I bought a couple of things but as they are presents they can’t be mentioned here.

I finished Wednesday’s Child by Peter Robinson and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was even surprised by the ending. I started and am halfway through The Devil’s Feather by Minette Walters. I always find her books filled with great tension and suspense.

Oh and I did get my replacement book, The Street of Crocodiles, from Amazon. A very nice copy.
