I haven’t felt like doing much of anything today. It’s too hot and I’ve been a bit under the weather, which could be because I’ve consumed a large amount of dark chocolate M&Ms but never mind that, I’ve got to tell you about a great film.
If you haven’t seen Real Women Have Curves you must rent it. The story isn’t anything new really, a teen tries to break with tradition, etc. but nevertheless I thought it was very sweet. Ana has graduated from high school and dreams of going to college but her family wants her to help out in the family business. Should she go along with her family’s wishes because she feels it’s her duty or should she stick up for dreams?
Aside from that, I’ve been reading a lot too and hopefully will have some book reviews up early in the week. For now I’m going back to my DVD collection. Perhaps a scary movie next?
