It’s happened again, another month has flown by and more books have been added to my TBR list. So let’s see, April was a much better month than March. I mainly read mysteries and fiction and I finally got through one whole audiobook. One book in translation so that’s always a good thing too.
With regards to my reading challenges, I’m holding steady at one book read for the Vintage Mystery Bingo challenge, one book for the Romance Reading challenge, and one book read for the Postal reading challenge. I do have books in progress for the Back to Classics and Once Upon a Time reading challenges.
There is still a lot of reading ahead for my challenges but no pressure.
Anyway, I think this month is starting off just right as there’s a big Half Price Books clearance event going on in town this weekend. I’ve got my bags ready and I’ll be there. I promise to report back soon. I hope you all have a super weekend!

Sounds like a good reading month! 🙂 I wish I’ve time for those reading challenges… My reading isn’t like the past where I could read one book a week. These days I’m happy enough to read a book in two week’s time, hehe.

I need to check my reading status with my challenges. I always forget. I’m pretty sure I’m doing really well where the book to movie challenge is concerned though.
I am glad you had a good April reading wise. Mine could have been better, but then, I did slip in a couple fast reads while trying to tackle the more serious books. I am looking forward to my reading this month. I think I will use this summer though to play catch up with some of my NetGalley books. I’ve been terrible about staying on top of them lately.

April was not a stellar month for me–I am a little afraid to even look! And here we are a whole week into May and I am nowhere near finishing anything still…. I know it is not quantity, but it is nice to make a little progress. I have gotten so behind in my ‘subscription’ books, too. Now that my work conference is out of the way, maybe life will settle down a bit more!
