Happy Camper

The book sale was a blast! The doors opened at 12:00 and we were ushered into a conference room filled with books. It was a bit cramped. I got bumped a couple of times as people were trying to reach over and look through stacks, and I’m sure I must have bumped people right back with my overflowing book bag but it was all fun.

Wanna know what I got?

Cold Flat Junction by Martha Grimes
The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami
Swann by Carol Shields
Death of a Red Heroine by Qiu Xiaolong
If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things by Jon McGregor
The Seven Sisters by Margaret Drabble
Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi
The Dogs of Babel by Carolyn Parkhurst
Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn
Love by Elizabeth von Arnim
The Last Resort by Alison Lurie
Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult
Birdman by Mo Hayder

All for $14. Did I get a deal or what?

I also found this wonderful web site for finding local book sales.

What am I doing this weekend aside from reading? I’ve got dinner plans with friends, the husband and I will catch a movie, work on some crafty projects and I will probably go back to the book sale. Hope everyone enjoys theirs!
