Friday

I spent all day at a training seminar on how to read financial statements, balance sheets and a bunch of other accounting stuff. Can you tell I wasn’t a business major? It actually wasn’t too bad but I was seriously entertaining the notion of sneaking in a book – don’t worry, I behaved.

I have family coming in town tomorrow so I’m not sure how much reading I’ll be able to do this weekend. I may have to threaten that either they go to the bookstore with me or they will be left behind with my mom and grandmother to watch Don Francisco – eek! I don’t think I’ll have a problem convincing them to join me.

While I catch up on some reading tonight I’m also enjoying the soundtrack to Ladies in Lavender. I raved about the film a couple of weeks ago and the soundtrack has some divine violin music. I recommend it if you like classical music. So off to continue Case Histories by Kate Atkinson.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
