Okay, who has overdue books? Owe too much in fines? Well, I admit sometimes I don’t turn in my books on time. Silly really as I can even renew online but it happens. But, it’s just a day or two and I always pay my fines.
One city in Texas is fed up with books disappearing and if patrons don’t return books by May 15 they could wind up in jail. You have to read the article to see what the librarians suggested as an alternative to a grace period.
Anyway, I’m going to the bookstore tonight. That way I can avoid the whole issue of fines. Ha,ha. I’ve been reading quite a bit and leave you with two reviews. A Year in the World by Frances Mayes and The Sweetest Hours by Laura Pedersen.
