Enchantment

We had a wonderful time at the theater on Friday. Watching the stage version of Enchanted April was…. Enchanting. The set design was gorgeous and there was even rain on the set!

If anyone needs a good pick me up kind of story I highly recommend the book Enchanted April by Elizabeth Von Arnim. It’s the story of four British women who leave their husbands, problems, etc. behind in England to spend a month in Italy, where enchantment enters their lives.

Other than an outing to the theater our weekend has been quiet. I’ve done a lot of reading and hope to finish up Kilbrack by Jamie O’Neil for my book group meeting on Tuesday. The novel is a comedic tale with a cast of several scoundrels, one amnesiac and a beauty.

And, just what I needed, I also got the latest issue of Bookmarks Magazine – yeah. Here’s to adding more books to my To Be Read list.

On a housekeeping note, I won’t be sending out BookGirl updates anymore. I promise to update regularly so please come visit often. Sending out the updates has become a bit of a hassle so I hope you’ll remember to visit me without the notice.

Off to continue reading.
