Here are a few things I’ve recently found out regarding books, bookstores and blogs.
People buy books solely for decoration. The rooms look nice but I would rather have books because I have read them, plan to read them or because they matter to me not just for the décor.
The Guardian has a book club blog. I can’t believe I missed that. Looks like they’ve read some interesting books too.
Speaking of book clubs Isabella has started Reading Middlemarch. I bought the book last weekend but as I’m behind on my reading for my real time book groups I think I’m going to have to pass.
I was in the mood for some older mysteries and thought hey I should take a look at the A Common Reader web site. Well, after trying to go to the site for days I realize it is no more. Sigh. Another great indie bookstore gone.
