We went to Border’s on Friday and what do I see but their table with the 3 for 2 book offers. I told myself I wasn’t going to go near it but curiosity won out and I had to take a peak.
I was so excited because I found, Book Lust and More Book Lust by Nancy Pearl. I’ve wanted those books for a while now. The free book I chose was Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides.
Aside from the trip to Border’s we also had an independent movie night with some of our friends and went to see Broken Flowers. We all enjoyed the movie and the light dinner and drinks that followed. Nothing like spending time with friends right?
I’ve been reading a lot today and finished up some books. For now I’ll leave you with two book reviews for those looking for some light reads, you can’t go wrong with She’s Got Issues and The Tea House on Mulberry Street.
