Confused Bookgirl

You know you’re thinking of too many books and other bookish things when you realize you have picked up the wrong book for book group. I thought my Murder on Mondays book group was reading A Great Deliverance by Elizabeth George but we are actually supposed to read The Man With a Load of Mischief by Martha Grimes. Don’t ask how I got those two mixed up.

Luckily I got a reminder email from the group leader and saw my mistake. I have the right book now and will save the Elizabeth George book for another day. In case you are wondering why we are reading older books, well, we always start with the first book in a series.

Unfortunately I’ve been so busy this week that I’ve barely had a chance to open the books for my reading groups and I don’t think I’ll be able to do much reading in the next few days. As I’ll be making books instead of reading them.

I’m off on a bookbinding retreat! Well, I don’t know about not reading at all. I’m sure I’ll sneak in a few chapters here and there. Now I’ve got to make sure I’ve got all my supplies packed. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week and I’ll be back on Monday.
