Thank you everyone for all the good wishes for my Abuelita. It was wonderful to see her and I tried my hardest to cheer her up a bit. She’s doing well and hopefully she’ll be feeling better soon. So aside from taking her to the doctor, running errands for her and just hanging out with her and some of my family members it was a very low-key trip.
I didn’t get to read as much as I hoped. It seems like that’s always the case isn’t it? But, I did finish The Slaves of Solitude which I thought was wonderful and I promise to blog about next.
I’m almost done with Bloody Good, which I’m counting as one of my reads for the Once Upon a Time Challenge III, and I have got to get with it and finish up The 19th Wife. I’ve got a book tour and giveaway coming up at the end of the week so stay tuned.
Anyway, it’s great to be back. I am so behind on blog reading, answering emails and participating in the Slaves of Golconda discussion but I’ll hope to catch up on all that throughout the week. Hope you are all having a wonderful week.
