A Quick Hello

We had a very good weekend as we got together with some friends for dinner and laughs. I needed that as my work has been crazy and this week will be more of the same. You see, I’m moving on to a new job but I want to make sure to wrap things up and leave everything in order. I’m very tired but excited about the upcoming change.

So this week postings may be very hit or miss and to top it off I have book group on Tuesday and I’m still very behind on my book. By the way, I’m really enjoying The Hangman’s Daughter.

I also made a stop at Barnes & Noble on Friday and enjoyed a quick visit to check out the shelves. I added a couple of books to my wishlist.

  • Big Girl Small by Rachel DeWoskin. Saw a good review of this book in either Bust or Bitch magazine.
  • The Paper Garden by Molly Peacock. How one woman became an artist at 72. I love that you can begin any dream at any time.
  • The Dream of Perpetual Motion by Dexter Palmer. A new steampunk novel to add to the list. Nice cover on this one too.
  • Eight White Nights by Andre Aciman. This sounds like it could be a wonderful love story.

Have you read any of these? Have a great week!
