I feel bad leaving out some other enjoyable reads. I kept adding and then taking off this book and this one. They weren’t my favorites but they sure did stay with me for a while. Of course that makes me think about what consitutes a “keeper” book. But that becomes a subject for a whole other discussion. For now that is my list.
I also really enjoyed A Very long engagement. What did you think of the movie? When I read the book, I couldn’t imagine how they would present a film, as there was so much letter writing and so forth in the novel. I thought it worked really well in the end, though.
I actually haven’t seen the movie. It’s on my list of movies to rent one of these days. I’ve also heard from a few other people that they thought it turned out really well so I do want to see it. I just need to find some time 🙂
