A Good Start
I didn’t celebrate the New Year with champagne or by going out but what I did do was ring in the new year with a visit to the bookstore this afternoon. I think that’s a perfect way to start the year don’t you?
Actually it was a very short visit but I had a goal in mind and that was to find my Art Journaling magazine, which I did. I’m so excited this magazine is a quarterly because I love looking through it’s colorful pages and interesting features.
There were a lot of other magazines that I wanted to look through but I’ll save that for our next date night at the bookstore.
I did see that the B&N Classics are on sale, buy two and get a third free and I was tempted but again as it was a short visit I was able to refrain. Not sure if I’ll be able to do that on the next visit though.
Again, happy new year everyone and now I’m off to read my new magazine and my first book of the year. I’ll tell you more about that one in another post.

January 2nd, 2013 at 9:46 amThat does sound like a wonderful start! I spent New Year’s Eve arranging my new book shelves, though, so clearly I’m biased.
