For the Weekend

Oh boy, has this week been a long one. I guess it’s partly due to the fact that I went to the office last Sunday but I’m very excited because my weekend has started. Yay.

I have a couple of things planned for the weekend, restorative yoga, being at the top of the list. I am ready to rest and feel renewed. I’m also planning to do a bit of shopping this weekend, no not the clothing/shoes/makeup kind of shopping, actually not even book shopping, but paper and metal shopping.

As I’ve been spending a bit more time in my studio lately I need to stock up on some of my paper supplies for my journals and I have my jewelry making class coming up in a couple of weeks so I have to get my supplies. I have my list ready and I have no idea what some of the items on the list are. How fun to learn something new right?

Now that I think about it, maybe there will be some book buying involved as I just remembered I got a coupon from Half Price Books. Can’t let one of those coupons go to waste.

Anyway, those are just a few of the items on my to do list. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Read lots of good books and I look forward to visiting with you guys soon.

    It sounds like you have an awesome weekend planned! My kids don’t have school today or Monday, so we are looking at four fun days! Book shopping sounds like an excellent idea and with the extra days, it might just happen.

    It sounds like you have a really nice weekend planned to make up for the long week. What jewelry class are you taking? I have been thinking about taking a jewelry class in Brooklyn at 3rd Ward. I am glad to hear you are spending time in the studio being creative. Always good for the soul.

    I wish we had a Half Price Bookstore closer to Lincoln. It’s about an hour to the one in Omaha, so I rarely ever go. I’ve got bags and bags of books to take up there, so I’ll have to make a trip before long. Not that I need anymore books… ;)
