Almost the Weekend

Oh I’m ready for the weekend, how about you? I don’t have big plans really but that’s the best part. I feel like there’s so much I could do. So much potential for fun and adventure but watch, I’ll be so tired from the heat I may just curl up with a book and stay indoors.

A few things I would like to do are:

  • Spend some time browsing through NetGalley. How have I not checked this out fully before?!
  • Would love to check out this scrapbooking store, Scrapology. I don’t scrapbook but love the papers for other projects.
  • Catch up on the NPR Summer Books series. I always find a book or two to add to my list.
  • Enjoy our new succulent garden. We only did a bit of landscaping on our front lawn but it’s so pretty. Maybe next year we’ll do more.
  • And, go to the bookstore of course.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

I do love browsing through Netgalley, although I do tend to request far too many books!

    Enjoy your weekend!

I keep meaning to have a good look through NetGalley too but I never seem to find the time!

No big plans here either, just a hair cut and a few drinks at a local bar tomorrow and take away tonight. Sometimes that is the nicest kind of weekend. I bet your garden looks fab btw, would love to see pictures…

Dinner with friends, whom I’ve not seen ALL SUMMER. Parent meeting to commence the start of football season. (Remind me again why I didn’t want the season to end last year?) Time to ramp up my crock pot cooking, as the practices are five days a week. School supply and uniform shopping. Reading? I doubt it, but I’ll try…

Netgalley is addicting. I just discovered it last month and I check it daily now! Have a great weekend!

That’s how I feel–the heat and humidity zaps all my energy–you have to prop me up in front of the computer at home in the evening! :) Have a great weekend. Beware of Netgalley–I have requested far too many books and will be reading them well into spring I think!

Just got your present in the mail yesterday I love it. You are so talented. Thank you so much. Now I have to find a special use for that journal. Love it. Hope you had a nice weekend.

I have no right to complain about heat after hearing the news talking about how hot it has been in TX. Will there be a photo of your succulent garden? Hope you had a nice weekend full of reading.

I should turn some of my gardens into succulent beds, what with the incredibly hot temps we get in the summer. It’s 105 today. Again! Phew!

Hope you had a great weekend! I JUST joined Netgalley (and was kind of thinking the same thing – how did I miss this before)! :)
