Well, hello blog friends! Thank you so much for all your comments. We have been busy with our move and it’s been going well. Just made a trip to Ikea last weekend to get four new bookcases. Oh I can’t wait to show those to you but I still have to get all my books out of their boxes.
Unfortunately we won’t have internet at home until next week and then of course it’s the holidays and oh my. So that’s why things are still kind of silent on my end. You’d think that with no internet to distract me I’d be reading up a storm but again, my books are still in boxes.
Actually, I did open one box because tonight is my mystery book group meeting and I’ve been rushing through L.A. Outlaws. Hopefully I’ll finish it this afternoon.
Of course I also had to place a small book order as all of my books were put away. I got the second book in the Daisy Dalrymple series, The Winter Garden Mystery and I also got the January selection for the Slaves of Golconda reading group.
Anyway, I must get back to my book and organizing. I hope you are all doing great and reading lots of good things.

December 15th, 2009 at 10:28 pmIt’s been raining like crazy here. Even the cable TV went out. I was able to finish Atwood’s The Year of the Flood. It’s basically sci-fi, so I know you won’t like it.
